‍The Turn - Online Writing Workshop
Topic: “The Scenic Route”

led by Camille Norvaisas

Wednesday
September 23rd
7:00-8:30 pm
Online

This session of The Turn is designed specifically for poets who want to take their hands off the wheel by driving into playful writing prompts that invite you to detour from your usual habits, experiment, and write without overthinking.

There's no pressure to reach a final destination, just dedicated space to generate rich, raw material to fuel your next collection.

This event is free. Register to attend.

Each month, we will alternate between an online open mic opportunity, and an online writer’s workshop where we’ll explore subjects, themes, topics, skills and other writing tools.

Camille Norvaisas is inspired by the Frederick Buechner quote, "Here is the world. Beautiful and terrible things will happen. Don't be afraid." Camille is drawn to images, interactions, memories, and snippets of history that can be beautiful or terrible. And when truly aware, exploring the beauty in the terrifying—the glow and the ache. Her works have been published in many journals and her first book, Rare as the Kotuku, and her forthcoming book (2027), What Matters, are both through Aldrich Press.
