WRITING THIS MOMENT: POEMS FOR CURRENT EVENTS

Current events poetry can be a personal catharsis, an exploration or commemoration of an issue or a moment in time, or a public reckoning. In this workshop, we will study, explore, and categorize current events poems as well as write and share our own—and, most importantly, will discuss and review submission strategies sure to get them published.
