Welcome to our newest offering, The Turn.
Each month, we will alternate between an online open mic opportunity, and an online writer’s workshop where we’ll explore subjects, themes, topics, skills and other writing tools.

The Devil is in the details! Join us as we focus on the visual, visceral and often unexpected details in your writing. How to introduce them, when to allude to them, where to invite them and why you should.
Be prepared to enjoy a short talk on creating vision in your writing (poetry, prose, fiction, songwriting, essays…) after which we’ll allow some time to explore and apply the concept of details into your writing.
There will be a brief, voluntary share-out prior to the close of the workshop.
